Why post-drying testing matters

Restoration crews often measure surface readings and pull equipment on schedule. Moisture trapped in wall cavities, under cabinet toe kicks or beneath flooring can remain well above target. Independent moisture verification and sampling confirm whether the structure genuinely dried.

Documentation for insurance

Third-party readings, photographs and laboratory results carry more weight with an adjuster than the drying contractor's own paperwork, particularly if a supplemental claim becomes necessary.
